9'0" 2+1 (widow maker) fin set up, Hi-Performance, Diamond Tail, shaped by Harbour Surfboards.

Having gone through several boards and knowing I wanted to keep riding different boards I went backwards. Well sort of. During the filming of my second project, "Going With The Flow: Classic California Soul Surfing" I met Jesse Timm. Jesse at that time was riding a modern yet classic shaped 10'0" Lance Carson, Triple Stringer, Single Fin. For the production of my third film, "Going With The Flow: Surfing Costa Rica's Jungle Breaks " Jesse shaped a board for himself to ride based on the Lance Carson shape. The board came out beautiful. So much that I asked him to shape me one just a tad bigger as I'm way more mass then Jesse. He went on to shape me what has to be my most aesthetically pleasing board and a dream to ride.

The board handles anything from knee high silly stuff to solid double overhead bombs. Sure, paddling out through the bombs is difficult but isn't that a big part of surfing, challenging yourself? The board is resin tinted and glassed with 16 oz of Volan Glass top and bottom. Super heavy and makes you ride with more style than a more modern log. Since the board is so heavy the momentum it gathers can pull me through the flatest of sections. And that's a good thing living on the Gulf of Mexico and Florida in general. The board has been to Costa Rica, California, Peru and the Dominican Republic. I ride the 10'3" Timm as a big ole single fin. The reverse rocker helps slow the board down when jammed into a wave and allows for some good nose rides, especially at long Costa Rican and California Point Breaks. >
