6'10" Thruster shaped by Shriver for Spectrum Surfboards.

Shortly after returning from Costa Rica I went on a hunt to find a longboard. Driving and stopping at each Central East Coast Surf Shop I finally made a choice on a red bottom deck, red railed with white deck, one balsa and two graphite stringer 10'0" Square Tail, Single Fin Noserider. The board worked well in all conditions from knee high dribble to overhead speedies. I put a Wingnut Cutaway fin on the board which made it super manuverable and allowed me to do things on it I didn't know logs were capable of doing. The 10'0" Noserider got beat up though the years especially one time when driving down the highway and the strap came loose and the board went ghost surfing in oncoming traffic. What a heart breaker moment that was. I had it fixed as it didn't snap in half

but sustained major damage so now it's relagated to specific tasks; back up board, a board my son rides and one for others to learn how to surf. Surfing crowded breaks means different things. Being a fast paddler to get into the right spot or sitting further out and away from the crowds. My 10'0" Noserider was good when I was wearing baggies but once the rubber was strapped on the weight increased and took away from the wave catching ability. I began my hunt for a 11'0" Round Pin Tail, Noserider which would float me well even with a watered down wetsuit in the most crowded of spots. I came across the board when I stoped by Natural Art Surf Shop in Cocoa Beach, there it was, an 11'0" single fin custom shaped for someone with a rounded pin tail, concave scooped out >

Quivering Circa 2007. My watery toys.
