There's more than one way to pull a board out of a wave.

Jesse Timm started his aquatic exploits in the ice cream headache waters of Lake Michigan at an early age riding a sponge and most certainly developing a love and stoke for the feeling and energy surfing creates. Jesse's surfing grew taking him to one of California's Surf Cities, Santa Cruz. After several years of living and surfing the areas cold water world class breaks he decided to move to slightly warmer regions down south in San Diego where he resides today. His ability to stay in trim has earned him the nickname "Trimm" which he proudly carries.

Being a professional surfer doesn't necessarily constitute being one of the top 44 on the ASP Tour.

The title can be defined to also include those who are professionally involved with surfing such as starring in surf films, shaping surfboards, etc. You get the drift. Jesse is a professional surfer in and out of the water. His list of contest wins combined with his surfboard shaping and starring roles in surf films makes him a wealthy soul. Adding to his good karma Jesse also works a 9 to 5 at the local hospital as a nurse. Jesse's contest wins are on display in his surf room along with a lifetime of surfing memories of his past events and achievements. Getting first and then the following year second place at the Rob Machado Classic years back are highlights and an honor to Jesse as he's stoked to win events put on by a California legend who's contest bears his name. >
